A business trip to Shanghai and Beijing gave me the opportunity to discover the new China. Alain Peyrefitte, French writer and member of the Academie Francaise, wrote his famous book "Quand la Chine s'eveillera" in 1975 predicting that China would wake up one day and surprise the whole world.
It seems to be the case. China is waking up and changing very fast. I had the chance during this trip to capture some pictures of the new world offered to the youth and the old world where life has the taste of melancoly.

Tombée sur ton nom sur Linked et sur ton blog ensuite, je ne résiste pas à l'envie de t'envoyer un petit message (tu ne te rappelles peut-etre pas de moi, mais toi en tout cas tu n'as pas changé d'un iota depuis la fac!).
J'ai admiré tes photos de globe-trotteur (il y en a de vraiment belles), et découvert ta super carrière ; je travaille pour ma part dans la Propriété Industrielle, ce qui m'a conduit à Montréal, où je suis installée depuis quelques mois avec ma petite famille......
Si tu as 5 min, ça me ferait vraiment plaisir d'avoir de tes nouvelles...
